I am reading…Andrea Carter & the Dangerous Decision.
I am hoping… I get the job for $30.
On my mind… my funny family.
From the learning rooms… I am starting a new Geography book today or tomorrow... FUN FUN. Noticing that… my brothers pick on my mom a bunch.
Pondering these words… Matthew 5:29.
From the kitchen… Justin is doing dishes while Matthew talks to him.
Around the house… The girls are outside playing, Sam is going to bed, Lucas is reading to Mom , Papa is at his office and I am typing.
One of my favorite things… is to draw horses.
From my picture journal…

When I Grow Up

Above is my dream barn. Isn't it beautiful?

When I grow up I want to have a big farm. With a bunch of farm animals. I want it to be a farm for kids or adults that have been in the city for too long and need a week or two break, orphans that need to get out for a while, or people that want or need to know how to run a farm. I want them to know how to do all the chores and learn how to have responsibility. I want them to have neat relationships with different animals. I think everyone should be able to do chores on a farm. I think everyone NEEDS to be able to do chores on a farm and have a good relationship with animals. I think everyone should have a relationship with a horse. They are good animals to have a relationship with. I think I would choose to have a relationship with a horse than a pig any day. I would rather take a long horseback ride rather than sitting in the mud with a pig. I do indeed think if someone would rather have a relationship with a pig than a horse that is ok.

I want to have a big brown barn with lots and lots of stalls with all kinds of animals in them. Pigs, sheep, goats, cows and horses...lots of horses, and maybe more animals. I want people not to just learn to do chores on a farm, but learn how to enjoy doing chores on a farm. I would not mind teaching people how to cook things either. That would be fun for me.

I want to have a gift/pet shop with rabbits, birds, lizards, turtles and other animals. Candles, cards, homemade jewelry and thing like that. It is a big dream. I hope to have as many kids as God wants me to...if He wants me to. He may not even want me to be married. I want whatever He wants. That is what I want to do when I grow up.

The Pets in my Family

In our house I have 7 fish, 1 gecko, 4 caterpillars and my papa has a dog. Now outside I have a cat, Justin has a cat, I have a horse, Lucas has a pony, and our family has 12 chickens and 1 rooster. Each kid has his or her own chicken. Except Sam and Justin. It doesn't interest them too much. We have 3 Bardrocks, 3 Road Island Reds, 1 Black Sexlink, 2 Golden Sexlinks and 2 Ostralarps. The names are not spelled right. They might be right, who knows.I think that is a lot of pets. You know what's cool.....our neighbors have 22 chickens, 1 rooster and 2 turkeys, now that's cool. Oh you can't forget our other dog Joe. He is really our neighbor's dog. But he's at our house most the time. He slept on our porch during the summer. He is so much fun. Especially in the winter. We have fun with all of our pets.

Our Huge Garden

Our Garden is HUGE!!!!! We planted all sorts of things. We planted two types of corn, twelve types of tomatoes, two types of onions, four or five types of carrots, 7 types of peppers,
2 types of cabbage, 1 type of chive, one type of celery, two types of pumpkins, one type of potato, 4 or 5 types of squash, 3 types of cucumbers, 1 type of watermelon, and 1 type of cantaloupe. I say that's about it. Our corn did not do so well. Our tomatoes did good. Our peppers did awesome. Our onions did OK. Our celery did terrible. It died before we got any. Our carrots did OK. They are still growing. Our pumpkins did good. We picked every last one this morning around 9 o'clock. Our potatoes did good. We have eaten all of them. I hope we will plant more next year. All our squash did very good. Our cucumbers did good. Our cantaloupe didn't do too well. We had to feed all of them to the chickens because they tasted like onions. Our watermelon did OK. We only got two small ones. They did taste good though. There is our garden and all about it. I did not go into too much detail, O'well.

My Amazing Family from Youngest to Oldest not Including Me

Baby Sam is the newest in our family. He was born on March 26, 2009. He is a cutie, he is a blessing. God is so creative when he creates people in the womb.

Larah is a blessing too. But boy is she a handful. She is always busy as a bee. She is amazing. How to explain Larah...I don't know, but I'll try. She is... amazing, wonderful, beautiful, an explorer, sweet, and she is always trying to help. That is Larah for you.

Katie is another story. She is also sweet. Katie can work quite good. She is also wonderful, beautiful, and amazing. Katie is becoming an amazing young girl. Man is she becoming so, so beautiful. She is always wanting to help me with my pets. She is a blessing.

Lucas is a very active boy. He is always wanting to go play outside or have a friend over. He is growing up to be quite big. He helps me feed the horse quite a bit. Right now he is doing math. Boy-o-boy is he active. He is a blessing.

Matthew is my big brother. He is an amazing cook. He cooks for the family quite often. He made pancakes this morning and they were wonderful. He is becoming an awesome hard working young man. His job is mowing. He also does other stuff. He is an very, very good worker. He works quite hard and very quick. He gets done with school around 10:00 A.M. Yeah, I am amazed too. He is a blessing.

Justin is also my big brother. If I had to pick a brother that I thought had the most in common with me it would be Justin. He is growing into a very strong young man too. He works at Fischer's Shop in Randle,WA. Justin is very cool. He brings me stuff that he finds in the woods or at Fischer's, like bugs or lizards. One time he brought me home a salamander, but something happened to it. Although I am not going to tell you what happened. He also brought me a chrysalis, I do not know if it is alive, I am hoping. He is a blessing.

Papa is wonderful, he is pretty handsome too. He is a pastor. He is not just a pastor, he is a good pastor. He is amazing, he knows a bunch. I love him bunches and he loves me bunches. He is very, very, very, very, very, very smart. He helps me quite often with all kinds of things. He helps me with my math when I need his help. He helps me spiritually, he is very good at that. He is just good at a bunch of stuff. I am very happy to have him as my papa.

Mom is beautiful, very beautiful in deed. She is a house mom. She cleans the church building for church. We usually help her. She is a very good mom. She is our school teacher. She is good at that too. Her favorite animal is a cat and her favorite color is green. She is wonderful. She is a great mom. She loves Little House on the Prairie.

God is Amazing

A little bit before Sam was born I went to Longview and Portland with my papa. We went to a lot of different places. Our very last stop was a Christan Book Store. All day I had been looking for a little stuffed animal for Baby Sam. Anyway, at this Christan Book Store there were some animals but they just weren't the type I wanted. There were a few but they were too expensive for me. There was one animal that was very much so what I wanted. And before I looked at the price I prayed to God and asked him to make it in my price range which was $5. After I prayed I looked at the price and it was $4.98. Is God amazing of what? Actually when the lady at the counter rung it up it was somewhere around $4.80. GOD IS AMAZING!
