My Little Sister's First Birthday

This is my little sister Larah's first birthday. She turned 1 on January 4th. She has never had her own cake before. You can see she was a mess. Larah has had cake before when someone was feeding it to her, but not all by herself. She is so cute. If you were with her for five minutes you would know she's a keeper. She knows how to play peek-a-boo. The amazing part is that she is good at it. She is so grownup. She can say Papa and Mama and she is a good copy cat. When you say "Mmmmmm" she says "Mmmmmm". I am so glad she came into our life a year ago.

A Gift From My Papa

This is a necklace that my Papa brought me home from the UAE. He was invited to the United Arab Emirates to teach one on one discipleship. I think the necklace is so pretty. I wear it almost every Sunday. I asked him what type of wood it is made from and he said that the people he bought it from did not tell him. I will treasure this forever.

My Bracelet

This is a bracelet made out of an ostrich egg. My dad went to Botswana, Africa on a mission trip and he brought it home for me. Even though it is made out of ostrich egg I still think it is very pretty. Before this trip he went on another mission trip to the UAE and brought me a necklace home. I am going to post about that soon. I wore my bracelet to church today and of course I wore my necklace too.

My Horses

This is my horse. Her name is Dot. She is an Appaloosa. She is the best horse that I have ever seen. She does not get spooked that easily. You can walk her right up to a gun and she will not get spooked. Once I was riding her when my dad was shooting his pistol and we walked up to him and stood there.

I had another Appalosa and her name was Ebony. But she died of old age. We all miss her but she was pretty stubburn. Dot is a lot better behaved than Ebony. I scrambled through my pictures and I happend to find a picture of Ebony. We do not have to look very hard to find a picture of Dot. We have a lot of those.
